E-Co-Housing: a Social and Sustainable Housing Solution
Collaborative, non-market focused housing puts people before profit, and is a viable reaction to the current housing crisis. This video was created by UIA and URBACT within the “Cities engaging in the right to housing” joint action, presenting the efforts of Budapest’s 14th district to create the first sustainable community housing in the country, and thus setting an example to future developments. ABUD has provided sustainability and participatory design consultancy for the construction, architectural design and the co-creation of the built urban environment in this pioneering initiative.
