In the last few decades, environmental consciousness has become more and more important in the construction industry, and so the need for measuring building environmental performance in a practical and objective way was formed by building owners, operators and construction sector stakeholders.

The first certification system that provided a framework for assessing building environmental performance was BREEAM, introduced to the market in 1990.

BREEAM has been followed by several first and second generation rating systems, as it has become clear that apart from providing proof of actual building performance, the rating systems have shifted the construction industry to a more sustainable direction by raising awareness.

Our team recognizes the importance of these certifications, and has attained professional qualifications to be able to provide consultancy and assess buildings according to the LEED, BREEAM and DGNB systems. We are at ease in dealing with a wide variety of projects: from urban scale projects at concept design stage to individual tenant spaces in operation. Our expertise is always up-to-date thanks to the constant training of our experts and their active roles in the Hungarian Green Building Council (HuGBC). As a result of our experience we were invited to take part in EU research projects aiming to develop unified European rating systems and environmental tools.

We offer services for architects, engineers, developers, contractors and operators to help them find their way in the specific requirements of the individual systems and achieve the required certification levels. We support the whole development process from preparation to hand over and even during operation. Due to their diverse educational backgrounds and many years spent in the building industry, our experts can contribute to attaining certifications beyond consultancy by providing qualitative design or engineering tasks that are needed to fulfil the certification requirements.

Our references include several completed and ongoing LEED and BREEAM certifications and pre-assessments of numerous commercial buildings, including offices and industrial buildings.
