CONGRATULATIONS TO ADRIENN GELESZ ON EARNING A PHD
Adrienn Gelesz (Partner at ABUD) successfully defended her thesis and earned a summa cum laude PhD at the Pál Csonka Doctoral School of the Faculty of Architecture, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) about the energy performance of double skin façades (DSFs).
The typology developed within her thesis describes what types of DSFs exist and how they influence energy performance. If you already know what a DSF is and are interested in what the potentials and limitations are when modelling them with energy simulation tools, you can also find important findings in her work.
ABUD has been supporting the research of our colleagues for 10 years now. This work could not have been completed without the support of Dr. András Reith PhD as Supervisor. Special thanks to Prof. Francesco Goia from NTNU’s Faculty of Architecture and Design and Elena Catto Lucchino for the cooperation during the PhD research.
