Smart city solutions, success in business, sustainability – new incubation program launches at Design Terminal, Budapest. Citylab is part of Design Terminal’s Incubation Program created to foster enterpreneurship and economic growth in 3 focus areas:tech, city and design.
Diversity is conducive to innovation and creativity so synergies and peer-to-peer learning between the chosen verticals are encouraged. Citylab will kick off parallel to TechLab and DesignLab, often allowing teams working on each of the different themes to think and work together. Knowledge extending across disciplinary frontiers will become more and more important in the urban development of the future. This is why it is particularly vital for participants to join a process and ecosystem where they can profit mutually from synergies across various fields of expertise and exploit the opportunities collaboration offers.
CityLab is looking for teams made up of conscious developers, designers and experts from a variety of fields, who want to take their business to the international stage and bring positive changes to everyday life in our towns and cities. The program has a lot to offer: within the 6-month program they provide comprehensive professional and financial support to creative businesses and applicants with entrepreneurial aspirations who want to make a positive impact on the lives, systems and performance of our towns and cities.
During the program mentors share their expertise with participating entrepreneurs through personal consultations. They come from a wide range of professional backgrounds, each possessing significant experience and expertise, which they employ to provide the individual teams with comprehensive and complex support.
