JUSTNATURE PROJECT MEETING IN LEUVEN
Between 11-13 October 2023, the JUSTNature Project team met in Leuven, Belgium, to discuss progress half time into the project
“Nearly halftime in JUSTNature Project, the partners have tangible results to discuss, such as the fledgling digitaltwin of NbS, city-scale coarse datasets to support strategic planning, practical applications of co-governance, and co-creation processes tha resulted in specific NbS intervention concept designs. As the project matures and interventions move from design to implementation, more and more attention is given to maintenance and long-term sustainability of green infrastructure.” – highlighted Viktor Bukovszki, Senior Consultant at ABUD, who participated in the project meeting in Leuven, Belgium last week, together with our Sustainability Consultant, María Francisca Tapia.
The three days were packed with insights, updates, and knowledge exchanged among representatives from the 7 City Practice Labs and 13 organizations, reflecting on the past 6 months of hard work and dedication.
