COMBI

Calculating and Operationalising the Multiple Benefits of Energy Efficiency in Europe

COMBI aims at providing a graphical online tool to visualise the multiple impacts of energy efficiency as well as their aggregation. The project aims at quantifying the multiple non-energy benefits of energy efficiency in the EU-28 area. It will gather existing approaches and evidence from the EU and develop appropriate modelling approaches. Finally, it will provide consolidated data on the varying impacts of end-use energy efficiency, such as emissions, resources, social welfare, the macroeconomy, and the energy system. The data will be accessible via a graphic online-visualisation tool. Insights for policy applicability will be derived, and policy recommendations elaborated to facilitate communicating non-energy benefits in the relevant policy areas.
