ESG Pilot Consultancy Project for ABUD

Az építőipar a világ CO₂e kibocsátásának mintegy 40%-áért felel. Meggyőződésünk, hogy kiemelkedő jelentősége van annak, hogy a mérnök-tanácsadó irodák hogyan teljesítenek a fenntarthatóság terén, mivel jelentős közvetett hatásuk van a globális üvegházhatású gázkibocsátás mértékére.

Mivel cégünk fő profilja a a fenntartható építészet és városfejlesztés, ezért az ESG audit, stratégia, és jelentés elkészítése önazonosságot teremt a vállalat működésében és megítélésében. A vállalat pilot programba való bevonásának további hozadéka, hogy lehetőséget biztosít a BÉT ESG módszertanának szolgáltató szektorban történő tesztelésére.

Fentiek miatt döntöttünk úgy, hogy részt szeretnénk venni a pilot programban azért, hogy proaktívan javítsuk ESG megfelelésünket, melynek keretében akkreditált tanácsadó világítja át a céget, majd közösen határozzuk meg azokat a lépéseket, amelyek rövid- és középtávon elősegítik a vállalat fenntarthatóbb működését. Az évente tervezett jelentéseket közzé tesszük honlapunkon, így biztosítva a transzparenciát.

Azáltal, hogy működésünket fenntarthatóbbá tesszük, nemcsak a fenntartható építés megítélésének javulását reméljük, hanem a területen kivívott úttörő és nemzetközileg is elismert pozíciónk erősödését is, példát mutatva a szektor többi szereplője számára. Bízunk benne, hogy az ESG iparági szinten történő elterjedése közvetetten hozzájárul az épített környezet általi globális kibocsátás csökkenéséhez.

A projekt tartalmának bemutatása:   

• A BÉT ESG-módszertan alapján a vállalati működés átvilágítása (esetleges GAP-elemzés lefolytatása)
• A vállalat működése szempontjából lényeges fenntarthatósági témák és érintetti kör (érintetti konzultációval alátámasztott) meghatározása a BÉT ESG-módszertan alapján
• A vállalati szervezeti/működési modell és irányítási rendszer ESG-kompatibilitásának elemzése a BÉT ESG-módszertan alapján
• A BÉT ESG-módszertan vállalati alkalmazásához szükséges beavatkozások, lépések azonosítása
• Vállalati ESG stratégia elkészítése
• Vállalati ESG jelentés elkészítése
• A BÉT ESG-módszertan szerinti indikátortábla feltöltése a megadott pilot felületre

The construction industry is responsible for approximately 40% of the world’s CO2e emissions. The sustainability performance of architectural and engineering consultancies is of paramount importance, as they have a significant indirect impact on the level of global greenhouse gas (GhG) emissions.

Since the main profile of our company is sustainable architecture and urban development, the preparation of an ESG audit, strategy, and report aligns the company’s operational performance with its outward perception. An additional benefit of our participation in the pilot program is that it provides us with an opportunity to test BÉT’s ESG methodology in the service sector.

Because of the above, we decided to participate in the program in order to proactively improve our ESG compliance. In the framework of the pilot, an accredited consultant examines the company. Following the audit, we jointly determine the steps that will facilitate the company’s more sustainable operation in short- and medium term. An annual ESG compliance report will be available on our website, ensuring complete transparency.

By making our operation more sustainable, we not only hope to improve the perception of sustainable construction, but also to strengthen our pioneering and internationally recognized position, setting an example for other players in the sector. We are confident that the adoption of ESG within our industry will indirectly contribute to the built environment’s global GhG emissions reduction.

Project details:

• Screening of company operations based on BÉT’s ESG methodology (possible GAP analysis)
• Determination of key sustainability topics and stakeholders relevant to the company’s operation (based on stakeholder consultation), with the application of BÉT’s ESG methodology
• ESG compatibility analysis of the company’s organizational/operational model and management system based on BÉT’s ESG methodology
• Identification of the interventions and steps required for application of BÉT’s ESG methodology at the company
• Preparation of a corporate ESG strategy
• Preparation of a corporate ESG report
• Submission/uploading of the indicator table based on BÉT’s ESG methodology to the specified pilot interface
