In a groundbreaking achievement for sustainable industrial development in Hungary, HelloParks’ MG3 warehouse at Maglód has secured the highest rating in the New Construction category of the BREEAM sustainability standard. The 45,000 sqm facility is the pioneer in the country to receive an Outstanding rating, demonstrating HelloParks’ commitment to environmental stewardship. Our colleagues’ professional guidance played a pivotal role in achieving this exceptional rating. Congratulations to HelloParks’s management team, Head of Sustainability Anna Bencze and our own experts, Fanni Cifka, Olga Péteri, and Business Partner Adrienn Gelesz.

The distinction extends beyond the finished structure to encompass the entire project life cycle, from design and construction to sourcing raw materials, waste management, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies. HelloParks is now the sole developer in Hungary to build all new facilities to the stringent BREEAM New Construction Outstanding criteria, setting a new industry benchmark. All warehouses completed this year, and those currently under construction, align with EU Taxonomy and adhere to the rigorous sustainability criteria set by BREEAM, fitting seamlessly into HelloParks’ overarching climate neutrality roadmap.

We are absolutely thrilled to be part of HelloParks’ journey, aiming to achieve net-zero operational carbon emissions and ensure a 100% renewable energy supply by 2028, underscoring the company’s dedication to a sustainable future.
