IFK SUSTAINABILITY RECOMMENDATIONS LAUNCHED AT PROPERTY INVESTMENT FORUM

Dr. András Reith and Pál Szilvási of IFK (The Hungarian Real Estate Developers’ Round Table Association) introduced a new set of recommendations for reducing the built-in energy capacity of office and commercial buildings.

On 25 September 2024, Dr. András Reith PhD and Pál SZILVÁSI, Vice President of the Real Estate Developers’ Round Table Association (Hungarian: IFK) launched a new set of recommendations with the aim of reducing the built-in energy capacity of office and commercial buildings at the XX. Property Investment Forum, organized by Portfolio Conferences.

This is the first time in Hungary that uniform professional recommendations have been formulated for reducing the energy consumption of office and commercial buildings, taking into account the entire construction process. This unique document focuses on how these buildings can be constructed and operated with the lowest possible installed capacity, and offers concrete recommendations aimed at the stakeholders involved in each step of the development.

We are grateful for the opportunity for the Real Estate Developers’ Round Table Association in Hungary, the expertise and contribution of IFK members and our own ABUD experts, and for Portfolio Conferences for introducing this key document.
