StepUP Project Final Event

The final event of the Renovation of Zöld Liget Kindergarten will be held on 26 March in Budapest

The EU’s vision is to decarbonise its building stock by 2050. However, only 1% of European buildings are being renovated yearly and shallow retrofits only have a minimal impact on energy consumption. Deep renovation is a key to drastically reduce the energy demand of buildings and to achieve this vision.

This is why StepUP project aims to develop new technologies and solutions to make building renovation more attractive and affordable.

One of the project’s pilot sites was Zöld Liget Kindergarten in Budapest, Hungary, where deep renovation innovation was tried and tested on a public building. To celebrate the closing of the project and this milestone, we invite you for an afternoon event. As part of the programme, participants will not only be able to learn about the project and its innovations, but would also be able to view the Plug & Play Façade system and the active system of the building, installed as part of the deep renovation.
