ADVANCING SUSTAINABLE RENOVATION: ENSNARE PROJECT’S GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN DELFT

On 8-9 November 2023, ABUD participated at the General Assembly of ENSNARE Project held in Delft, the Netherlands.

As leaders of Work Package 7 (WP7) of the Consortium, ABUD’s primary focus is on developing a robust business strategy for renovating both demo and virtual buildings.

Our colleagues Francisca Tapia and Ainur Kairlapova participated in the assembly at Delft, providing a detailed overview of the renovation process, particularly highlighting the manufacturing and installation phases for the actual demos. The discussions delved into the project’s intricacies and overarching objectives.

With the support of the manufacturing and design team, lead by Sustainability Consultant Francisca Tapia, ABUD organized three workshops dedicated to the demos. These workshops facilitated face-to-face discussions with building owners, aiming to reach a consensus on the next steps in the renovation process.  The exchange allowed space for a productive dialogue about the challenges, milestones, and benefits associated with the project. The interactive sessions encouraged collaborative problem-solving and innovation.

ABUD extends gratitude to TU Delft University for its warm welcome and insightful campus visits during the assembly. Once again, it was great to see all stakeholders involved in the ENSNARE project and the collaborative effort and commitment of all.

As the ENSNARE project continues to advance sustainable building renovation, the Delft General Assembly lays the foundation for driving innovation and positive change in the pursuit of a greener and more resilient future.
