DEEP RENOVATION IN PROGRESS FOR STEPUP PROJECT’S HUNGARIAN PILOT SITE

Works have started at Zöld Liget Kindergarten in Budapest, Hungary, one of the pilot sites of StepUP Project, where deep energy renovations are carried out. As part of the project, Plug & Play façade modules are being installed, allowing for easy and quick installation and improving the building’s energy performance.

StepUP, an EU-funded research project aims to optimise deep renovation processes for the decarbonisation of the EU building stock in order to increase renovation rates. Being part of a consortium of international partners delivering the project, we are responsible for devising and adapting a novel renovation methodology and stakeholder engagement processes, implementing life-cycle assessment (LCA) for building material and monitoring standards and regulations in the target countries.
